San Jose – Day 3

A mostly sunny day with temperatures reaching 30C. First job today at 9am was a trip to the supermarket for groceries. We walked over the hill for 20 minutes to reach Soriana and found our shopping. Similar walk back to our condo. Around 11am I went to visit the estuary again but from the opposite end. Around 10 minutes later I was walking along the river bank. A much better area than yesterday with clear views over the estuary. I was able to walk out to the end of the path and viewed the birds out on the water such as egrets, brown pelicans, herons, coots, grebes and many more. Back by 12:30pm. Around 2:30pm we went to the Taba BBQ close to our condo for happy hour. Served by Edgar. We have a table reserved here for the Super Bowl on Sunday. Around 4pm I went the other direction, down to the beach area. Stopped at the large cemetery on the way. Walked the long sandy beach in front of the hotels. Back by 5pm. In the evening we walked back into the town centre and visited a few stores. much cooler once the sun had set .Back by 8pm.
